NZ Book Month – Why cats rule the world … and dogs are still slaves

catsruleWhy cats rule the world … and dogs are still slaves, by Dawn McMillan, illustrated by Roger Twiname

The title says it all, really. The illustrations are fabulously zany, as is the story, and the last line is excellent. It features a line-up of cats on rooftops, with very satisfied looks on their faces, saying, “This world belongs to us!”

Just so.
